What a tiring day!! I got out of home at around 9 something and reach South City Plaza at 11.30 after picking up my friend. Once at the entrance, we were asked to wait by the management until 12pm cos he said it's too congested inside. But we waited until 12.30pm only the let us in! Crazy.

The worst part is the que to pay is terrible long. Seriously terrible. There's only 5 cashier! The whole tiny area got crammed up cos of the slow paying system. I queued from 1pm until 5 pm!! Yes, it's 4 bloody hours just to pay. But the stuff are suoer duper cheap i tell you. I grabbed like mad woman. Lol. 4 huge bags for only RM350, but not all mine la... Check out the pictures:

Eucerin Dermo Purifyer Cleanser and Toner Review

After using them for about a month plus, both still left a considerably large amount. I used the cleanser and toner everyday, twice a day.

What i think: I say, skip this cleanser! It's blah, deserve to be in the bin. It doesnt lather and foam at all, no matter how much amount i use. Doesn't clean properly and it's too mild for acne prone skin. Forget about removing makeup, this thing doesnt even remove oil! Bin it.

Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Toner

What it says:
Eucerin DermoPURIFYER Toner clears the skin and provides intensive cleansing for T-zone and other problem areas. Its formula with Lactic Acid Gently unclogs pores without overdrying.

What I think: Okay, this is mich better than the cleanser. I like it cos it’s mild (not as alcohol laden as clinique’s) and it cleans quite well. I can see a lot of dirt stuck on the cotton (I’ve tried with my usual cleanser, not Eucerin’s). It leaves a sticky feeling after application but absorbs very fast to the skin. Texture wise, it’s watery like other toners but greenish in colour, doesn’t bother me. But what I really like is the fact that it reduces my pimples on the forehead and blackhead on the nose.
This works better than Clinique and Biotherm’s toner but wouldn’t be in my HG list as well.

Ratings: 3/5 (Moderately okay, not bad if you’re on a tight budget)

The Body Shop Malaysia 2010 Sale

Started today! I went over to SACC Mall Shah Alam around 1130am and to my surprised, it was kinda empty. Not as crowded as i imagined. Anyway, i only bought two items cos not really a TBS fan, the sales lady was kinda pushy so i got out as fast as i can.

I bought Pomegranate Body Spray for RM11.70 (after 70% off) and Tea Tree Oil Cover Stick for RM16 (50% off). I'm not a member so i dont get to enjoy 10% discount. Bummer. Other stuff like body butter and mist are at 50-70% off, didnt see any sets though. Was hoping to get sets since they're better priced.

Anyway, head on to body shop to check out if you're TBS fan. :)

Why?

I went shopping today and bought some great stuff and when i got home, more great stuff! My ELF and NYX spree items arrived today. Me love 'love letter'...hehe

Alright, let's see what i bought today....

Went over to Sunway Pyramid and got some really good deal from Face Shop, and when i got home, two parcel were on my bed to greet me. Wee~~ Lol

The Face Shop is having sale up to 50% nationwide. I past by the shop and stop to look because the nail polish were ALL at 50% off. Yes, ALL of them. I got these two colours at RM2.95 each. There were tons of colours left on the shelf. I prefer Face Shop's nail polish more than Elianto, Revlon and Loreal because they're more lasting and applies on effortlessly. Almost all their cosmetics were at 40-60% off. Even their best selling bb cream were at 40%. I got this purple eyeshadow in 113 Romantic Lavender at RM6.95 each. They have lots of testers to try out the colour, so dont worry about payoff.

My first love letter arrived from a seller in lowyat.net (My fav site for cheap bargain stuff!!)
Stila Mandarin Mist Cheek Duo. Too bad the box was squashed by the dearest pos malaysia, otherwise this would be perfect. A soft peach and rosy bronze blush duo to highlight and contour cheeks. This retails at RM120 but i go it for RM20 only :D

The second parcel is ELF + NPB Spree, from my favourite seller in lowyat.net, Rowena. She's a superb A++ seller. Very very patient, wrap items in tons of bubble wrap and efficient.

From ELF studio 50% spree, i got myself two blushes in Candid coral (on the right) and Tickled Pink (on the left). I got them at RM10.50 each, after discount. Have yet to try the colours yet but they are huge! This will last me for years :D

From NPB spree, i got:

NYX Round Lipstick Femme $1.75 = RM7.00

Wet n Wild Eye Ultimate Expression Compact » Paradise Clove $4.99 = RM18.07

NYX Single Eyeshadow Spring Flower. They look so pretty! I was surprised at how small this is, but on the bright side, it's good for traveling and fits into any makeup pouch for sure.

Wet n Wild Eye Ultimate Expression Compact » Paradise Clove. This in comparison with NYX shadow is HUGE! I like it cos there's a lot of possible looks that can be achieved by this compact. For work, for casual outing or for that hot date. I hate the fact that it comes with a pull out mirror on the bottom instead of a conventional mirror on the cover. So much hassle as we need to tilt the compact to look at the mirror. But at RM18 for 8 colours, i can't complain much.

NYX Round Lipstick in Femme - swatches on lip.
I forgot to take the picture of the lipstick itself but the colour is so bright! I got a shock when i opened it. I expected a sheer, everyday lipstick but this is more like a bright orangy lipstick. It looks okay in the picture but in actual, it's too orangy for my liking. I guess i chose the wrong colour. But i'd say, NYX round lipstick does live up to its name, it's extremely smooth and easy to apply, and moisturizing. I'll definitely get more of this in the next spree, in another colour of cos.

I got this Lancome Cleo Exchange a new mascara programme in Lancome counter Sunway Pyramid. The lady was very pleasant and nice, she explained to me the function and how to use it. I exchanged my old dried out clinique mascara with this travel size Mini Virtuouse Precious Cell Mascara :D

It was boring Wednesday afternoon. So, i decided to surf the net for a while and while i was on shoppingnsales.com to check out the lastest warehouse sales, i stumbled on mimosa warehouse sale in klang.
Since Klang is like 10 minutes away for me, i drove there to check out the sales. I'm sorry i didnt take down any pics of the sales itself, but i have pictures of the bags i bought :D

Oversize PU leather bag. Not leather but it's very good quality for RM20! Yes, it's RM20 only.

Look, it's huge. The inner is made of good material too. Comes with a longer strap too, so this can become a messenger sling bag. This is selling for RM72 in their websites.

Classy off-White shoulder bag. This is a nice, and smooth casual bag. Despite its look, you can actually put quite a lot inside.

The inner satin lining looks and feel luxurious for its price. Oh, this is RM10 btw. The price on the website is RM55.

A mini wallet. Sorry for the blur picture, my phone camera is only 3.2MP. You can put quite a lot inside. I chuck 12 cards, notes, receipts, coupons and coins in. Can you believe this is only RM6.90?

I went over to Jusco Bukit Raja after i was done with this warehouse sale, just 5 minutes drive away. I bought a few stuff over there too.

An Aeropostale pink tank top from F.O.S. They're having sales up to 70% off. I got this half price at only RM5. Yup, no kidding, it's only RM5.
Oh, and the tiny green black box is a squash ball i got for RM8 after 10% discount from Royal Sporting House.

So, my total damage that day? RM49.90. Weee~~~

Raisis Eyelash Serum Review

I guess eyelash serum is the hype nowadays. I've read so many good reviews on Talika's Lipocils eyelash serum and Loreal's latest serum. But those two are out of my budget (hey, student don't get a lot you know). So, i've found another cheaper alternative which seems to work quite well to my surprise. I first saw this eyelash serum in Jean's blog: R.aisis eyelash serum. Click the link for her review.

As for my review, this is what i think about it:

Pros:
- cheap! (It's only RM20 for 5ml which can last a long time)
- it works. Really works. I can see my eyelash growing in just one week. Now i'm in my second week only and i've seen noticeable growth. It's longer, so much fuller, and thicker. New lashes are sprouting from upper and lower lash line.
- does not irritate the eyes. There were a few times i accidentally poke the brush into my eye but there's no irritation or what so ever.
- safe to use before mascara. I used this day and night twice daily.

Cons:
- the applicator. I just hate the brush. They should have mascara type of wand for easier application instead of a brush
- the labeling. Everything is in chinese, which is bad for a banana like me. I had to go online and search on how to use this.
- can get pretty messy because of the brush, so u might end up with unwanted hair growth if you don't apply it properly
- thicker eyelash which means harder to curl as well. I noticed that when i use my Sasa eyelash curler. But i reckon u can just curl a few more times to overcome that :)
- only can get online. I got this from lowyat.net.

Rating: 8/10
I really like this product a lot! The 2 marks deduction is due to the applicator and the chinese labelling. Otherwise, it's really very good. I'd say it's a very good buy, since it's only RM20 and best of all, it works!

50% off Coppertone face sunblock!

I spotted this in Watson Taman Connought at RM15.90 only! It's half price from RM30+ and no, it's not damage or expired. I've no idea why it's on such a great sale but almost all Coppertone sunblock is 50% off including the Coppertone sports sunblock.

Right, so what do i think about this product?

I like it better than Loreal's UV Protector sunblock (the famous one with Michelle Reis as spokesperson) and Clinique's City Block but lesser than Biore Sunblock.

Pros:
- Non-oily (when i say non oily, i really mean non oily. I can't stand oily stuff on my face!)
- Value for money (It's a huge bottle, 88ml)
- Water-resistant. So important in humid country like Malaysia.
- Oil Free, PABA free, UVA and UVB protection

Cons:
- Doesnt control oil (Me like Biore's for its oil control but has a whitish cast for me)
- Smell. It smells like typical sunblock, which is good for some because it's fragrance free.

Overall:
- I like this better than any other sunblock i've tried except Biore's but this comes very very close to my favourite. Only thing missing is oil control properties. I'll probably use this when it's super hot and i'm more likely to sweat a lot, to swimming and to beaches.
